Spoiled Dog?

This is my friend's dog Zena.  She is a Boston Terrier.
She has learned to control her "licker" since I first met her.
She will actually walk on all fours, but her ideal form of travel is
to be carried around by my friend or her husband, or anyone else for
that matter. I'm sure you can tell in this picture, she is NOT spoiled at all.

I have to say, she's my first Boston Terrier acquaintance, and I just love that dog!

a very special gift

My sister knows just what to get,
something you didn't expect, but
it's got that sentimental attachment too.
This was my nostalgia Christmas gift this year.
It made me smile and brought tears to my eyes.
It's an original, same age as me.
Does that make me an antique collectible too?

Photos and Peanuts

I have to mention about Linus and Charlie Brown pictured below, these boys were great! They came to visit where I work and they were just adorable, Linus kept asking me to hold his "head" while he walked around visiting and chatting with everyone. His eyes were a bit too high, so he would bump in to things while wearing his Linus head. Their awesome mom helped make their costumes and they paper mached beach balls for the heads. Very clever indeed!

My family loves "Peanuts" gang, so this was really neat to see. Great costumes!

Autumn

Seeing the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge reminds me that fall is indeed here.
Although there is no fall foliage seen here, you know it's not far behind.

CAT NAP

An iPhone photo post,

Should I sleep here or over there? I could sleep just anywhere!
A box, a bag or under the tree, too many choices, I'm tired you see.
I need a drink, from the sink, please, please just let me think!
Aww that was good, I feel refreshed, I'll need to nap before I'm bushed.
I'm so tired I do not care, I need somewhere to lay my head.
Hey this is good here on the bed, upon the mail, I do declare!
I need to rest now I'm so tired, I'll stay right here and nap awhile.

Green Mountains Majesty!

Great Smoky Mountains National Park
I know they say the best time to visit here is in the fall,
but I just loved all the various shades of green everywhere.
Everything was so lush and beautifully green.
I always love visiting anytime of the year and
discovering little bits of nature and history
I haven't seen before.

What's your favorite part of the Great Smokies?
If you haven't been, you need to plan a visit.
